She has 21 year of experience of teaching under graduate and post graduate engineering students. She received her B.Tech Degree with Honours from Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering and Technology Bathinda in 1998 and secured fourth position in the university. She completed her M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Punjab Technical University with specialization in Wireless Communication. During her teaching career she has taught more than 25 courses and guided eleven M.Tech Thesis .She has attended  more than 25 Faculty Development Programme,Seminars, Workshops and Conferences. She has published more than 25 research and review papers in various conferences and international journals. She is lifetime member of ISTE and Women Grievances Redressal Committee of DAV University.
