Dr. Bandna Bharti is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at DAV University, Jalandhar. She obtained her M.Sc. from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab in 2011, M. Phil from Shoolini University, Solan, (H.P) in 2012, PhD in Materials Science from Jaypee University of Information and Technology Waknaghat, Solan in 2017. She joined DAV University in 2017 and worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry from 2017-2019. From 2019 to 2021, she worked as a postdoc researcher in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, China. She has 16 research publications in reputed international journals. One book chapter published in Elsevier and one book chapter published by Springer. Her research interests include nanomaterial’s synthesis their characterization and applications, fabrication and characterization of nanomaterial thin films, surface modification of different nanostructures by air plasma treatment, synthesis and characterization of natural fibers, surface modification of natural fibers by different chemical treatment.
