There are four well-equipped practical laboratories for undergraduate and postgraduate practical classes to conduct inorganic, organic and physical chemistry practicals. There is one project lab for M.Sc students and one research lab. The Department is equipped with UV-VIS Spectrophotometer (Schimadzu), Rotary Vacuum Evaporator (Cuberlab), Aspirator, Low temp. Bath, Semi-micro Balance (Mettler- Toledo). Details are given below:

The labs are equipped with Semi-micro Balance (Mettler- Toledo) (1), Hot air oven (3), Heating mantle (10), Hot Plate (4), Hot water bath (3), Melting apparatus (4), Double distillation apparatus (1), pH meter (5), Conductometer (4), Rotary flask shaker (1), Potentiometer (1), Polarimeter (2), Refractometer (3), Calorimeter (2), Dipole meter (1), and Flame photometer (1).
The project lab is equipped with UV-VIS Spectrophotometer (Schimadzu) (1), Rotary Vacuum Evaporator (Cuberlab) (1), Aspirator (1), Hot air oven (1), Hot plate with magnetic stirrer (5).
There is one research lab under Dr Akshay Kumar. The lab is equipped with Low temp. Bath (1), Hot plate with magnetic stirrer (2), UV chamber (1), Hot air oven (1).
