Mandeep Kaur, a student of MSc Hons, Department of Physics working under Dr Gurmeet Singh Lotey for her MSc research project bags first prize in oral presentation in International Conference on Recent Advances for Quality Enhancement in Science and Technology, 2017 (RAQEST-2017) held in HMV College, Jalandhar from 16-17th January 2017.
She presented her research work on magnetic semiconductors for future generation electronics devices called Spintronics. Dr Gurmeet Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, shared the idea to enhance the performance, viability and speed of future generation electronic devices. He also debated the possible way for the miniaturization of electronic devices.
Different participants from India and foreign have participated in this conference and presented their talks and posters. Also, from DAV University Jalandhar namely Mandeep Kaur, Harsimranjit Kaur, Mohit Aneja – MSc students and Srabjit Singh a PhD student from Physic department participated in conference. Dr Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj, Registrar and Shri Rajan Gupta, Executive Director congratulated the student. Dr A K Paul, Vice-Chancellor applauded and motivated her for further excel in research.
