The induction began on August 7 with the registration of students, marking the start of their journey at the university. Following registration, the Vice Chancellor delivered an inspiring address, welcoming the newcomers and sharing the university's vision and values. This set a positive tone for the programme. Dr. Simarjit Singh then conducted a motivational session focused on the importance of goal-setting and self-motivation, encouraging students to aspire towards their academic and personal objectives.

On the following day, August 8, the program continued with a Havan Yajna, promoting cultural and spiritual awareness among students. This was followed by a session on Health & Yoga led by Dr. Manju Deorari, emphasizing the importance of physical and mental well-being. Dr. Tarveen Kaur's session on Time Management provided students with essential skills for balancing their academic responsibilities. The day also included an introduction to student clubs by Ms. Bindia Daroch, highlighting opportunities for involvement outside the classroom, fostering a sense of community among peers.

The programme progressed into the third day, where Dr. Gitika Nagrath provided a briefing on academics as per the NEP 2020 regulations, ensuring students understood the new educational framework. This was complemented by a lecture on Heartfulness by Dr. Pallavi Khanna, which focused on mindfulness and emotional well-being. The session on the Code of Conduct, presented by the Worthy Registrar, helped clarify the university's expectations regarding student behavior. A session on Examination Policy and Assessment Tools by the Controller of Examinations (COE) ensured that students were well-informed about academic evaluations. The day concluded with the formation of mentor-mentee groups, facilitating personalized guidance for students.
August 10 featured sessions designed to enhance students' employability and entrepreneurial skills. Dr. Girish Taneja led a session on Entrepreneurship and Employability Skills, while Dr. Kamaljeet Kaur Sidhu provided insights into student welfare guidelines and policies. An industry expert conducted a session on Mind Matters, which addressed mental health issues and coping strategies. This day also allowed students to interact with alumni and senior students, providing them with valuable insights into their academic paths and career trajectories.

The fifth day of the programme, August 11, was dedicated to a cultural celebration, the Teej Mela, where students engaged in traditional festivities, strengthening their connection to cultural heritage and fostering friendships.
On August 14, sessions continued with a focus on civic responsibility. Ms. Sanjana Jain discussed Fundamental Rights and Duties of Citizens, followed by Dr. Tejinder Kaur’s session on Community Engagement and Social Responsibility, encouraging students to contribute positively to society. An industry expert led a session on Ability Enhancement, focusing on developing skills relevant to the job market. Dr. Reena Chadha's session on Environmental Consciousness and Waste Management highlighted the importance of sustainability, prompting students to think critically about their environmental impact.
The following days included Havan Yajna, a visit to the Knowledge Resource Centre (Library), and a session on Behavioral & Life Skills led by an industry expert. A talent hunt provided an opportunity for students to showcase their skills.
There were discussions on Health & Yoga, Leadership Management, and Desktop Yoga and Wellness, emphasizing the importance of well-being in leadership roles. Dr. Samriti Khosla introduced students to Extension Activities, encouraging them to engage with the wider community through service.
The induction programme culminated on August 18 with sessions on Gender Sensitization by Dr. Raj Bala and Human Values and Ethics by Dr. Bedi. The final sessions focused on Dynamism in Action and Ancient Knowledge Systems, promoting a holistic understanding of contemporary and traditional wisdom. The programme concluded with a reflection and feedback session, allowing students to express their thoughts and suggestions for future improvements.
